The Department Started its function with a pre-degree course in 1975. The B.Com Degree was started in the year 1978 and the department was upgraded as post graduate department in 1998. Now the department is one of the approved research centres for Commerce under University of Kerala. The department has the pride in having a number of innovative programs like Investors’ Club, Financial Literacy Club, Entrepreneurship Development Club and other extension programs under social service scheme. We have industrial and academic linkages with reputed commercial firms and institutions. We offer a high-quality academic environment to endow the learner community to manage and win over the modern dynamic educational milieu.
