Participation in Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) and Extension Activities

  • The students and teachers of the department actively participate in the regular and special camping programme of the college .
  • Science club actively functioning under the guidance of the department wihSmt. Thushara R. as the Convenor.
  • A debate was organised in connection with World AIDS Day
  • A Science News Letter of scientific events were published weekly in the notice board by members of science club.
  • A three day science exhibition named ‘SASTRAYAN’ was organised in our college in association withRUSA. Students were actively participatedin this exhibition .They had made still models, working models, charts and posters. Also science related videos were shown in smart class room under the guidance of Sri. Sudheer B
  • To evoke the curiosity on science – on chemistry – interesting experiments in chemistry- a lab class for nearby school students.
  • Faculties are engaged in the setting of Question Papers ofautonomous colleges
  • Collaboration with prestigious institutes/organisations like NIIST, HLL, CUSAT and NIT Calicut for academic project works.
  • “ORICE”(OnlineResources Initiatives of  Collegiate Education(ORICE) ) is functioning in our college under the co-ordinator ship of Dr. Bhagyasree J B
